The Rainbow Shark (Epalzeorhynchos frenatum) is a striking freshwater fish known for its sleek, torpedo-shaped black or dark gray body and vivid red or orange fins. Despite its name, it's not a true shark but gets its name from its shape and fin posture. Rainbow Sharks add a bold splash of color and movement to any aquarium and are best kept by intermediate aquarists.
